The Vandal Dive team finished their first day of competition Friday for the Air Force Academy Diving Invitational. The Vandals had a great day on the board and had multiple top 10 finishes.

Senior Diver Paige Hunt had a great day with a 7th place finish in the 1-meter dive with a score of 267.85. She also broke another school record on the platform and placed 4th with a score of 245.15.

Senior diver Kelsi Potterf also had a good day with a 46th place finish in the 1-meter dive with a score of 199.00.

“For Saturday we need to clean up some entries and stay focused,” Head Diving Coach Kelly Gufford said. “This meet is a marathon and we are only at the halfway mark.”

The Vandals will finish the competition tomorrow with the 3-meter dive.
