Jamie Sterbis, who advanced to the NCAA Swimming Championships as a sophomore, earned Collegiate Swimming Coaches of America Association Scholar All-America honors after attaining a grade-point average above a 3.5 and advancing to the national championship meet. Joining her in earning mention as honorable mention honorees are Rachel Millet and Mairin Jameson.

"Jamie, Rachel and Mairin hold themselves to such a high standard that they serve as a great example to the rest of the team by proving you can achieve at the highest level in both the pool and the classroom," coach Mark Sowa said. "They are so much fun to work with because they bring such a thoughtful approach to their swimming which I am sure they bring to their studies as well.  We are so proud that they are Vandals."
