Thirty-four University of Idaho student-athletes who compete in fall sports (soccer, football, volleyball and cross country) were chosen to the Western Athletic Conference All-Academic Team for fall sports.
Soccer led the way with 13 players earning the honor. Volleyball and football had six each with women's cross country totaling five and men's cross country adding four.
To be eligible, student-athletes had to have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better and needed to participate in at least 50 percent of their team's contests. Only upper classmen were eligible. Freshmen and transfers will be honored in the spring.
Idaho's honorees are:
Soccer: Katie Baran, Liz Boyden, Chelsie Breen, Jill Flockhart, Erica Hart, Lauren Layton, Christine Leathem, Megan Lopez, Annie Millard, Emily Ngan, Chelsea Small, Breanna Wilson and Nitalia Zuniga.
Volleyball: Allison Baker, Janelle Chow, Julia Church, Jennifer Feicht, Alyssa Schultz and
Alex Sele.
Football: Logan Bushnell, Bobby Cowan, Cody Elenz, Maxx Forde, Justin Parkins and
Justin Podrabsky.
Women's cross country: Holly Browning, Alycia Butterworth, Hannah Kiser, Abby Larson and Emily Paradis.
Men's cross country:
Colton Hastings, Jeff Osborn, Cayle Turpen and Kyle Tylor.
