AUSTIN, Texas - University of Idaho freshman Shana Lim set an Idaho record in the 200 backstroke as she finished 42nd at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

Coach Tom Jager was pleased with her efforts in her first NCAA national competition.

"Shana had a great swim this morning," said Jager of Lim's 1:58.22 effort. "She swam a much more confident, more comfortable swim.

"Overall, it was a great week; a great learning experience."
