One of the top kickers in Idaho history, Mike Hollis set a standard of accuracy that has not been repeated. In 1993, Hollis make 68 consecutive extra points on 68 attempts. His 68-of-68 tally on extra points is also an NCAA record for the best perfect record of extra points made and for the highest percentage of extra points made. His 56-yard field goal against Northern Arizona in 1993 is the longest in school history. He also set Big Sky Conference records against Lehigh in 1993 with 11 extra points attempted and made. After Idaho, Hollis played in the NFL for eight seasons, which includes a Pro Bowl year in 1997 when he led the league in scoring with 134 points, with 200 field goals made on 250 tries.
