Spring 2011: Reed tied Idaho's single-season singles wins record as he went 31-7 on the season, including a 22-4 record at No. 2 singles in the spring. His 31 wins match Rob Leonard and Joe Hignight's 34-year-old record from 1976-77. Reed posted a 5-1 record in WAC play and earned first-team all-WAC honors, WAC Player of the Week honors, and WAC all-tournament team honors throughout the season. Reed went 18-6 in doubles on the season, going 1-0 at the No. 1 spot and 17-6 at No. 2.

Fall 2010: Reed won his first six matches of the 2010 fall season by claiming the singles championship at the Boise State fall tournament with five straight wins, and advancing to the round of 32 at the ITA Regional Championships...his only singles losses of the season came in the ITA Regional round of 32 and the Pacific Northwest Intercollegiate quarterfinals...he posted a 5-4 record in doubles play throughout the season..advanced to the doubles semi-finals at the PNW Intercollegiate with teammate Jose Bendeck.

2009-10: Reed competed in 25 singles matches for the Vandals in 2010, all at either the No. 1 or No. 2 positions. He compiled a 12-4 record at No. 1 singles and is 5-4 at No. 2 singles and went 17-8 in singles overall. He won nine consecutive singles matches from Feb. 13-March 6. Reed also finished 17-7 overall in doubles in 2010 and won the Gonzaga/Eastern Washington Classic doubles event with teammate Alex Joitoiu during the fall.

Previous School: Reed came to Idaho from University of Queensland. Reed has put together an impressive junior career that includes singles titles from the ITF Darwin U-18 tournament, Australian U-14 Hardcourt Tournament, 2006 Easter Gold Tennis Cup and the 2004 Australian High School Tournament. He also earned doubles titles at the 2005 Adelaide ITF Tournament and the Malaysian ITF Tournament. He advanced to the quarterfinals of the Australian F9 Futures menfs singles tournament and was the singles runner-up and doubles champion the 2006 Queensland Open. He has held high positions in both the Australian and ITF World Junior Rankings throughout his career. While competing as an amateur, he has also achieved a ranking in the Australian Menfs Pro Tour, as well as the world menfs pro tour. He compiled a 43-26 singles and 38-24 doubles record in ITF junior events.

Personal: He is the son of Tony and Julie Reed. He has a brother named Ren and a sister named Sophie. He graduated from Brisbane Grammar School in Brisbane Queensland in 2005. His intended major at the University of Idaho is Economics.
