Spring 2012: Dobbs earned WAC all-tournament team honors in 2012...Dobbs went 2-3 in singles in the spring, all at the No. 6 position...he went 15-11 in doubles, going 5-3 at No. 1, 9-1 at No. 2 and 1-7 at No. 3...Dobbs won his last six doubles matches of the season, all at the No. 2 position with partner Abid Akbar.

Fall 2011: Dobbs’ fall season was highlighted by a run of five consecutive doubles wins with partner Marius Cirstea to claim the ITA Mountain Region championship and earn a bid to National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in Queens, N.Y….he went 7-4 in doubles play in the fall and 5-5 in singles play…advanced to the round of 64 in singles at the ITA Mountain Regional with an opening round win.

Spring 2011: Dobbs went 7-2 in doubles action in the spring, including a 2-2 mark in WAC play. He played all of his doubles matches at the No. 3 position with teammate Abid Akbar.

Fall 2010: Andrew went 0-1 in singles action and 1-1 in doubles in the fall...he teamed up with Alan Shin to advance to the round of 16 in doubles at the Gonzaga/Eastern Washington Invitational...fell in the round of 32 in singles play at the Gonzaga/Eastern Washington Invitational.

2009-10:Dobbs did not compete in the 2009-10 season.

2008-09: Went 4-3 in doubles play during the fall season.

2007-08: Dobbs finshed his freshman season going 19-19 in singles competition. He posted a 5-2 mark at the No. 4 spot during the spring. Dobbs and partner Hugh McDonald went 9-6 in doubles play in the spring. He finshed the year with 14 wins in doubles play.

High School: While attending Newman Smith High School, Dobbs earned Freshman Newcomer of the Year honors, was the 5A regional singles champion in both 2006 and 2007 and was a doubles champion in 2004.

Junior Tennis: Dobbs was the 2002 National Open singles champion, the 2004 MCB Cotton Bowl doubles champion and was ranked in the top 10 in the United States and as highly as No. 1 in Texas in doubles in the 16-year-old age group. As an 18-year-old, he held rankings in the top 35 in the U.S. and No. 1 in Texas in doubles play. He was also a Texas All-State honoree in both 2006 and 2007.

Personal: Plays right-handed. Majoring in business at Idaho. He is the son of Edgar and Liz Dobbs...born Janurary 3rd, 1988 in Dallas, Texas.
