|Charlston honored again|
LAS VEGAS - After averaging 15.0 points and 12.5 rebounds in two games at the Western Athletic Conference tournament, Idaho sophomore women's basketball player Alyssa Charlston earned a spot on the WAC all-tournament team.
Charlston, a 6-foot-1 post from Sammamish, Wash., (Eastlake HS) native, had double-doubles in both games, finishing with 16 points and 15 rebounds in Idaho's quarterfinal win over San Jose State, and had 14 points and 10 rebounds in a semifinal loss to Fresno State.
The Vandals reached the WAC semifinals for the second time in three years, and won their opening round WAC tournament game for the third consecutive year.
Charlston joins Leilani Mitchell (2005-06) and Yinka Olorunnife (2009-10, 2010-11) as the only Vandal women to have earned the honor.
The honor is one many for Charlston this season.She also earned all-tournament team honors at the New Mexico Tournament and the Lady Griz Holiday Classic, as well as first-team all-WAC and third team academic All-American honors.
