2010: Led the Vandals with three interceptions and five passes defensed in addition to recording 61 tackles (45 solo, 16 assists) – fifth best on the team.

2009: Led the Vandals in total tackles and was second in the Western Athletic Conference ... WAC leader in solo stops and was tied for 14th nationally ... earned WAC Player of the Week after 12 solo tackles (15 total) against Colorado State.

2008: Injured during the Vandals’ fourth-game and missed the remainder of the season after having shoulder surgery ... but, had 31 total tackles (26 solo and five assists) in addition to one blocked kick prior to injury.

2007: Chosen the winner of Idaho’s John Friesz Award as the team’s Most Valuable Player ... earned that honor with stellar play defensively and on special teams, for which he earned a position on the Vandals’ Elite Eleven ... earned a reputation as a fierce, tireless competitor ... also set a school record with a 100-yard punt return against Northern Illinois ... also set Vandal marks in punt return yards (319) and punt return average (16.8) ... finished the season with 81 total tackles (55 solo, 26 assists), five tackles for loss (-28 yards), three fumble recoveries, four interceptions (65 yards) and four pass breakups.

2006: Pressed into service as a true freshman ... became a leader in the secondary with 72 total tackles (59 solo and 13 assists) – second only to linebacker David Vobora ... also had the second highest passes defensed with six in addition to six tackles for loss (-17 yards), an interception and a quarterback hurry ... twice had double-figure tackle efforts with 10 at Utah State and 10 against Nevada ... was an honorable mention choice on Sporting News all-freshman team.

High school: Was the Cascade Conference Defensive Player of the Year as a senior … also all-state choice at defensive back and all-conference running back … was an all-league selection at defensive back as a junior as well … team’s Most Inspirational Award winner … team captain … in two years at Archbishop Murphy he rushed for 2,946 yards on 259 carries … scored 37 TDs and threw for 184 yards on option passes … also returned kicks and punts … played baseball.
