2012 Outdoor: Geiger capped off his career with a pair of All-WAC honors to help lead the Vandal men to the team title … finished second in the 10,000m at the WAC Outdoor Championships with a time of 31:04.00 to earned First-Team All-WAC, then took sixth in the 5000m in 15:15.95 for a Second-Team accolade … ran a career-best 30:40.67 in the 10,000m at the Mt. SAC Relays to finish 12th and move into eighth all-time at Idaho in the event … finished seventh in a career-best time of 3:59.02 in the 1500m at the Sam Adams Classic on March 31 … Spring WAC All-Academic honoree.

2012 Indoor: Geiger earned a pair of First-Team All-WAC honors for Idaho as a senior … took second in the 5000m at the WAC Indoor Championships with a time of 14:35.02 and added a third-place finish in the 3000m in 8:28.31 … ran a career-best 4:20.30 in an eighth-place finish in the mile at the Vandal Indoor on Feb. 3 … finished 12th in his heat with a career-best time of 8:25.24 in the 3000m at the Husky Classic on Feb. 11 … Winter WAC All-Academic.

2011 Cross Country: Geiger was Idaho’s second finisher and a First-Team All-WAC selection after taking third at the WAC Championships with a time of 25:26.0 … in doing so, became the first Vandal to earn First-Team All-WAC in cross country four years in a row … finished 92nd at the NCAA West Region Cross Country Championships … Idaho’s top finisher at the Inland Northwest Cross Country Classic after taking fifth overall with a time of 18:34.8 … Idaho’s third finisher after taking 18th at the Dellinger Invitational with a time of 24:14.63 … the third Vandal finisher at the Sundodger Invitational after placing seventh overall with a time of 24:32.39 … took 46th overall with a time of 24:54.9 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational … WAC Fall All-Academic honoree.

2011 Outdoor: Geiger competed in the long distance events for Idaho as a junior … took seventh in the 10,000m at the WAC Championships with a season-best time of 31:27.96 … ran a career-best 14:21.83 in a victory in the 5000m at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival to move into sixth all-time at Idaho in the event … WAC Spring All-Academic honoree.

2011 Indoor: Geiger was the 2011 WAC Track Co-Performer of the Year after scoring 18 points and claiming a pair of first-team all-WAC honors ... won the 5000m (14:43.49) and was runner-up in the 3000m (8:27.25) with career-best times in both at the WAC Indoor Championships ... Idaho's high point scorer at the meet ... also posted a career-best 4:24.24 in the one mile at the WSU Open II on Feb. 19

2010 Cross Country: Idaho's top finisher and first-team all-WAC selection after taking third at the WAC Championships with an 8k time of 24:40 ... ran a 31:05.45 at the NCAA West Region Championships to finish 46th overall and second for Idaho ... won the All-Idaho Cup men's race and led Vandal men to team title to open the season with a time of 24:52.81 ... took 11th overall at the Sundodger Invitational with a time of 24:28.55 to finish second among Idaho runners ... finished 13th at the Charles Bowles Invitational with a time of 24:15.69 ... Idaho's top finisher at the Dellinger Invitational at 15th overall with a time of 24:16.80 ... was the team's top finisher in three races, and second finisher in the other three ... WAC Fall All-Academic honoree

2010 Indoor: Geiger finished seventh in the 5,000m in 15:18.78 and ninth in the 3,000m in 8:52.04 at the WAC Indoor Championships. He set a career best of 8:40.57 in the 3000m at the Cougar Indoor and a best of 14:48.51 in the 5000m at the Husky Classic, which was the fourth-best time in the conference in 2010.

2010 Outdoor: Geiger won his first career WAC title in the 10,000m at the WAC Outdoor Championships. He held a lead of more than 100 meters after 18 laps when the race was stopped early for lightning in the area. He also finished 11th in the 5000m at the meet with a time of 15:12.91. He ran a 31:17:54 in the 10,000m at the Stanford Invitational to move into ninth all-time at Idaho in the event. He was honored at the end of the season as an ESPN the Magazine Second-Team Academic All-District selection.

2009 Cross Country: Geiger earned first-team all-WAC honors with a fourth-place finish at the WAC Cross Country Championships with a time of 26:23.1 on the 8000m course. He earned WAC Athlete of the Week honors for the first time in his career after winning the season-opening Clash of the Inland Northwest by an 18-second margin. He completed that 6000m course with a time of 20:10.0.

2008-2009: Geiger took 4th athe the WAC XC Championships and was the first Idaho runner to recieve the WAC Top Freshman award.  He also took 64th at the NCAA West Regional Championships with a time of 31:04.27 in the 10,000m.

High School: Geiger comes to Idaho with an already impressive list of accomplishments on the track. In 2008, Geiger took seventh at the German National Championships in the 10,000m with a time of 30:23.16, which is nearly 20 seconds faster than the best American high school time in the event in 2008. In 2007, he took 11th at the European Under-23 Championships in the 10,000m with a time of 30:58.03. He took fourth at the 2007 German Junior National Championships in the 5,000m.

Personal: He is the son of Thomas and Irene Geiger. He was born June 3, 1988 at Bad Neustadt, Germany. He has three siblings, Jonas, Tobias and Mirjam. His major at Idaho is Electrical Engineering.
