In doubles, the pair of Lachlan Reed and Adrian Simon advanced to semifinals as they knocked off the tournament's third seed. Alex Joitoiu and Stanislav Glukhov advanced to the quarterfinals but could not overcome the number four seeded team .

"Lachlan and Adrian had a great day moving thru to the semi-finals and they are two rounds away from qualifying for the national indoor championships," Idaho Director of Tennis Jeff Beaman said. "Alex and Stas lost a tough quarter final match to a strong University of Utah team that was the 4 seed."

The Vandals will look to keep the momentum going on Saturday as action continues at the ITA Mountain Regional.
