Honors: 2011 Governor's Cup All-Tournament, 2010 Golden Shinnie Award, Two-Time WAC All-Academic

2011: One of just three players to start every game for Idaho in 2011, and has now started 40 games over her first two seasons … was a fixture in the middle of Idaho’s back line that posted two shutouts and a 1.50 goals-against average, despite going through four goalkeepers during the season … headed in a corner kick for her second career goal in the 4-2 win against Hawai`i on Oct. 7 … attempted six shots during the season … voted to Governor’s Cup All-Tournament Team after helping lead Idaho to a pair of wins over Idaho State and Montana on Sept. 2-4 … was voted Players’ Player of the Game once by her teammates … Fall WAC All-Academic honoree.

2010: Breen appeared in 19 games and started 18 on the Idaho back line as a true freshman. She played her best game of the season in the 3-2 win over Portland State on Sep. 28, when she scored her first career goal and was voted Players' Player of the Match by her teammates. At the end of the season, she earned the team's Golden Shinnie Award as the player with the top defensive grade for the year. She also helped lead an Idaho back line that held opponents to all-time low totals of 20 goals, 15 assists and 55 points during the regular season.

High School/Club: Breen was a three-time first-team all-Greater Northern League selection for Cheney High School. As a senior, she led the Blackhawks to a Washington 2A state runner-up finish and earned honorable mention all-state accolades in the process. She led CHS to four state tournament appearances, including a third-place finish in 2006 and quarterfinals appearances in 2007 and 2008. She was also a three-year varsity track and field competitor. As a member of the Spokane Shadow club team, Breen helped the Shadow 91 Navy to a 2007 Super Y League Northwest title and National Finals appearance, as well as Rimland Cup titles in 2005, 2007 and 2008, Pleasanton Rage Showcase titles in 2007 and 2008, a 2008 Portland Showcase title and a 2007 U.S. Club Soccer Region G Premier title. She was a member of the team for seven years and a team captain for two of them. She was joined on the team by fellow 2010 signee, Mary Condon.

Personal: She is the daughter of Jonathan and Deborah Breen. She has one brother, Benjamin. She was a four-time first-team Academic All-State selection and carried an impressive 3.95 high school grade-point average. She is majoring in Exercise Science and is in the Pre-Physical Therapy program at Idaho.
