Nancy Wicks Dahlquist helped the Vandal volleyball team win back-to-back Big Sky Conference titles in 1992 and 1993. During both championship seasons, Wicks was the most efficient hitter in the Big Sky as she led the category with a .314 average in ’92 and a .351 tally in ’93. She also led the conference in blocks in 1993 with 1.84 per game. She was the Big Sky’s Most Valuable Player in both championship seasons and was a First Team All-Big Sky honoree both years as well. She was a second-team honoree as a sophomore and was the 1990 Big Sky Freshman of the Year. In 1992, she was an AVCA All-Northwest Region First Team selection. Upon graduation, she held school records for single-game hit percentage (.847) and block assists (12), single-season records for hit percentage (.351) and block assists (155), and career records for hit percentage (.288) and block assists (490). Her 155 block assists in 1993 and her career 490 block assists are still records at Idaho. Her .351 hit percentage in 1993 helped the team set the school record with a .277 overall hit percentage for the season. Overall, Idaho was 77-42 during her four seasons.
