MOSCOW - The University of Idaho Men's Tennis team was ranked fifth in the Mountain region in the latest ITA rankings.

""For our men to be fifth in the region is a great accomplishment for this program," Idaho Director of Tennis Jeff Beaman said. "Good things continue to happen with this high regional rank, the men breaking into the national rankings, the team so far going 14-4 including defeating nationally ranked NMSU and UNLV."

Lachlan Reed is ranked seventh in Mountain region singles and Reed and Adrian Simon ranked fifth in doubles.

""Lachlan has shown he can compete with anybody in the country and him and Adrian Simon have really come together as our #1 doubles team," Beaman said.

Idaho now has a break before a busy close to the season.

We have a bit of down time and then some critical matches later this month against BSU and several nationally ranked programs at the Boise Spring Team Invitational tournament," Beaman said.
