Vandals have first-day lead at Jackrabbit

PRIMM, Nev. - Jarred Bossio had back-to-back 68s to take the first-day lead at the Jackrabbit Invitational at Primm Valley Golf Club. Bossio's eight-under 136 gives him a one-stroke lead over teammate Sean McMullen as the Vandals tallied a 36-hole 561.

Their efforts are part of a group of four Vandals in the top 20 with Stefan Richardson and Gordon Webb tied for 17th at even-par 144. Justin Kadin is at six-over 150 and tied for 48th.

Idaho has a six-stroke lead over South Dakota State with 18 holes to play. Missouri-Kansas City is third at 575 with Oral Roberts fourth at 576.

Bossio tied for the tournament lead with 13 birdies and also shared the lead in par-3 scoring at three-under.

The tournament concludes Tuesday.
