The University of Idaho men's golf team had a closing round 293 to tie for 11th at the Desert Shootout. The Vandals, who had a 54-hole 871, were led by Sean McMullen. McMullen tied for 27th after closing with a 75. Jarred Bossio tied for 36th, while Justin Kadin was tied for 57th and Stefan Richardson and Gordon Webb were in a group tied at 75th.

McMullen closed with a 75 to finish at 216 for the tournament, while Bossio closed with a 72 to finish at 218. Kadin's closing-round 71 gave him a 221, while Richardson's 224 game via a final-round 78 and Webb's by a final-round 75.

Wichita State won with an 836 with Brigham Young second at 838.
