Spring 2012: Torres went 12-11 at the No. 5 and 6 singles position in the spring...he went 3-2 in WAC play, and finished 6-6 at No. 5 and 6-5 at No. 6...in doubles play Torres went 0-1 in the spring, playing at the No. 3 position.
Fall 2011: Torres went 5-4 in singles play in the fall and 2-4 in doubles…he advanced to the round of 64 in singles at the ITA Mountain Regional before falling into the consolation bracket where he won two more singles matches…he teamed up with Alan Shin to reach the semifinals in doubles at the Pacific Northwest Intercollegiate.
Junior Tennis: Torres comes to Idaho from Lima, Peru where he was ranked No. 1 in every national junior category, 12-, 14-, 16-, and 18-years...was also ranked as high as No. 211 in the world in the ITF junior rankings.
Personal: Full name is Cesar Eduardo Torres...son of Cesar Torres and Nancy Luna...born Jan. 8, 1993 in Peru...has one sister, Nancy...majoring in chemical engineering at Idaho.
