MOSCOW -The Idaho men's tennis team will get a boost to its roster this spring with the addition of Ivan Krijanto, a transfer from nearby LCSC.

Krijanto spent his first three seasons playing at LCSC, and will have one semester of eligibility at Idaho.

"Ivan is a great addition to our program for this spring, giving us depth and experience playing at a high level," Idaho coach Jeff Beaman said. "He has competed for LCSC the past three years which is a top nationally ranked NAIA team, and I am looking for him to make an impact in both singles and doubles.  Over the past few years he has given us some really tough singles and doubles matches."

In the spring of 2012 Krijanto went 8-9 in singles, playing primarily at the No. 1 position. Four of his nine singles losses came against NCAA competition. He went 10-10 in singles play in 2011, playing at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, and went 6-15 in singles as a freshman in 2010, with all but one of those matches at the No. 1 spot. Krijanto has a career doubles record of 28-29 in three spring seasons, with almost all of those matches coming at the top spot.

Krijanto, a 5-foot-9 senior, is a native of Jakarta, Indonesia and will study business at Idaho.
