MISSOULA, Mont. – The Idaho men’s tennis team knocked off the Big Sky’s second best team on Thursday, beating Montana 4-2 in Missoula, Mont.

The Vandals, who will re-join the Big Sky on July 1, swept the doubles point and earned victories at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 5 singles to improve to 8-13 on the season.

“The team is continuing to build confidence and work on doing things the right way,” Idaho coach Jeff Beaman said.

Idaho wraps up the regular season on Saturday at noon against LCSC in Moscow, weather permitting. The Western Athletic Conference tournament is Apr. 25-27 in Las Cruces, N.M.
