University of Idaho women's golf coach Lisa Johnson is thrilled to have Arizona Chin sign a National Letter of Intent to play for the Vandals.

"We are extremely excited that Arizona has chosen the University of Idaho from her native Australia," Johnson said.

Arizona will be the first Australia to play for the Vandals. Chin's strong work ethic and desire to improve are two things that make her a standout player.

"She is a strong player who has shown significant improvement over the years due to an unbelievable work ethic," Johnson said.

Besides these qualities Chin's experience playing golf at an international level has given her exposure to competition at its highest level.

Chin's playing accomplishments include the Stuart Appleby Signature tournament champion 2007. She also represented her school three years in a row at state, was the 2007 Victorian Stableford Champion, and was a 2006 Victorian border team member.

Some of Chin's other playing accomplishments include traveling to Queensland for the Girls Amateur championship, playing in the Victorian Amateur Championship, and being the 2009 Patterson River open girl's junior champion.
