CHENEY, Wash. - It is win number 11 for the Idaho Women's Tennis team as the Vandals thumped Weber State 7-0 on Friday.

Idaho has been in a rich vain of form this season as the team has won 11 consecutive matches after falling to Washington State in the season opener.

"I thought we played well tonight," Women's Tennis Head Coach Tyler Neill said. "We were focused and we looked as good as we have all season.  I think having two weeks off to rest and practice definitely helped."

The Vandals were strong in all spots. Gabriela Niculescu, Maria Perevoshchikova and Barbara Maciocha did not lose a game in their singles matches.

"I thought we played some of the best singles we have this season," Neill said. "Everyone played well, one through six in our lineup."

Idaho begins its road trip to the east coast with a showdown against Georgetown in Washington D.C. on Sunday.
