LAS VEGAS - The Idaho women's tennis team won for the ninth time in its last 11 matches Sunday as it took down Kansas 4-2.
"The girls played great today," Idaho coach Dan Pollock said. "The way they stared playing I could basically tell from the first ball that was hit that they weren't going to lose today. They got it in their head that we were going to do whatever it took to win and they went out and beat a program out of the Big 12, so that's huge and a really great performance for all of them."
Idaho improves to 13-5 on the season with the win.
The Vandals will return to action April 1 when they visit the Portland Pilots.
