PULLMAN, Wash. – With a quick turnaround after a 5-0 loss to WSU on Friday night, the Idaho women’s tennis team handled its business Saturday morning, beating Montana State 5-2 to even its record at 1-1 in the young season.

“It’s great for the girls to rebound from the WSU match and chalk up a win,” Idaho Director of Tennis Jeff Beaman said. “I was very impressed with the way they competed. If they can continue to compete this way and learn from the experience I’m looking to a fun season.”

The Vandal women’ return to action with a pair of matches in Spokane, Wash., against Eastern Washington and Gonzaga on Feb. 1 and 2, respectively.
