Women's tennis adds one

MOSCOW, Idaho – Lucia Badillos Rodriguez of La Rioja, Spain has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Idaho women’s tennis team beginning this fall.

“Lucia should make an immediate impact in our singles line-up,” Idaho coach Jeff Beaman said. “She has a very high Spanish women's open rank and some great results against very highly ranked players.  We are looking forward to her joining us in the fall.”

Rodriguez is currently holds the No. 46 National Senior Ranking. She was winner of the Senior Rio State Championships in November of 2013 and the Senior Rio State Master Riojano the following month. She also won the U18 Rio State Championship in May of 2013 and was a semifinalist in the U18 Spanish National Doubles Championship in June of 2012.
