SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Incoming Idaho tennis player Matt Oddonetto, who will be a freshman with the Vandals this fall, helped the Intermountain squad earn a fifth-place finish at the World TeamTennis Junior National Championship last week in San Diego, Calif.
"This is a great result for an incoming player and I'm excited to see what he'll be able to do once he gets to campus," Idaho coach Jeff Beaman said. The WTT Junior Nationals, hosted by co-founder Billy Jean King, is a national junior invitational event featuring 16 co-ed teams from throughout the United States. The Intermountain team included players from Idaho, Colorado and Nevada. |
