MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho volleyball roster got a little bit deeper for the future with the addition of Casey Kline, a 6-foot tall outside hitter from Reno, Nev.

Kline, who was team-captain at Reno’s Galena High School, was a three-time all-league selection, and had 731 kills, 511 digs, 109 aces and a .249 hitting percentage during her high school career. She was on the 2013 AVCA Under Armour All-America watch list, the 2012 AVCA Phoenom list, and was a Prep Volleyball Sophomore 79 and the Frosh 59 honorable mention.

“Casey is a good-sized kid, a physical kid,” Idaho coach Debbie Buchanan said. “She had some offers to go play at lower levels, but she really wanted to play Division I. She’s really committed to hitting the training hard and getting more physical. She’s jumping higher and really wants to be able to come into a program and develop as a player.”

Kline competes for the Silver State club team, and was a two-time team captain. At Galena High School, Kline earned Community Service Letters  in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, and Academic Letters in 2013 and 2014. Her older sister Makenzie competes on the track team at the University of Colorado.
