Athletics Add/Drop Policy

To remain NCAA eligible, student-athletes must be enrolled in 12 semester credit hours, successfully pass 6 (9 in fall for football) degree applicable classes each semester, sucessfully pass a total of 18 credit hours between fall and spring, and maintain an institution cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

If a student-athlete wishes to drop a class, he/she must meet with their team academic advisor for approval.

Student-Athletes must understnad that that any classes that they are currently failing due to excessive unexcused absences, or missing class work, which therefore causes the student-athlete to have a schedule change, the Student-Athlete is financially responsible for late add/drop fees associated with those actions. The Athletic Department will not cover late add/drop/withdrawal fees due to the Student-Athlete’s lack of effort in classes.
