DENVER - Idaho junior women's basketball player Alyssa Charlston earned a first-team all-Western Athletic Conference spot for the second consecutive season, while Stacey Barr and Christina Salvatore also received postseason WAC honors, the league announced Monday.

Charlston, a 6-foot-1 post from Sammamish, Wash., led Idaho with 13.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and a 46.1 field goal percentage during WAC games in 2012-13. She scored 20 or more points three times during WAC play and tallied five double-doubles, leading Idaho to a third-place WAC finish.  Charlston earned WAC Player of the Week honors once during the season. She was also a first-team All-WAC pick after her sophomore season in 2011-12.

Barr, a 5-foot-8 sophomore guard from Melbourne, Australia, was a third-team All-WAC selection. She averaged 10.9 points per game in WAC play and added 5.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists. Barr hit 29 3-pointers, ranking seventh in the league in 3-pointers made per game. She scored a career-high 23 points against Utah State on Jan. 5 and tied an Idaho program record by making six 3-pointers in that game. She was a WAC all-freshman team selection a season ago.

Salvatore, a 5-foot-11 wing from Anaheim, Calif., earned WAC all-freshman team honors after averaging 11.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in WAC play, making her the second-highest scoring freshman in the conference. Salvatore led the WAC with 3.0 3-pointers per game in conference play, and broke the Idaho record by making 84 3s during the regular season. She scored a career-high 22 points on Feb. 2 against San Jose State, and tied Idaho's program record by making six 3-pointers in a game on two occasions.

The Vandals will take on sixth-seeded San Jose State in the WAC quarterfinals at 11 a.m. (PT) on March 12 in the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
