MOSCOW, Idaho—The University of Idaho women’s basketball team will take its two-game winning streak into Cheney, Wash., on Saturday. The Vandals will take on the Eagles at Reese Court at 7:00 p.m. PT.
“I know it is going to be a tough, physical battle,” head coach Jon Newlee said. “They have some players on the perimeter that can shoot the three. They are very good inside. I think we are going to have to be ready for a big for a battle up in Cheney, it always is. We are going to have to be at our best to be successful up there.”
Former and soon to be again Big Sky Rivals, Idaho and Eastern Washington have met 62 times prior to Saturday’s match up. EWU holds a 34-28 advantage. Idaho is 12-19 all-time in Cheney.
