Idaho’s Kayla Mortellaro have been chosen the Verizon Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week for March 26-April 1.

Mortellaro, a senior from Phoenix, Ariz., tied for third place at the Anteater Invitational, March 26-27.  Mortellaro improved every round to finish with a 9-over par 222 (75-74-73), just two strokes behind the winner. 

It is the 14th time in her career that Mortellaro has won a WAC golfer of the week or month award.
