2014 Outdoor: Briggs was a member of the 2014 Outdoor Western Athletic Conference Championship team… finished fourth in the decathlon earning Second-Team All-WAC honors with 6,064 points…ran a career-best time in the 110m hurdles (15.69) and reached career-best marks in the shot put (35-6,10.82,) and the javelin throw 157-4 (47.95m) over the meet…he also hit a career-best mark in the pole vault at the Sam Adams Classic with a third-place vault of 14-9 (4.50m).

2014 Indoor: Briggs earned First-Team All-WAC honors for his second-place finish in the heptathlon with 4,468 points aiding the men’s team to a WAC Championship… he hit career-best marks in the high jump with a mark of 6-5 (1.96m) at the WSU Open and in the shot put at the Idaho Collegiate with a toss of 36-1.5 (11.01m).

2012 Outdoor: Briggs competed in the decathlon for the first time in his career as a junior and earned All-WAC honors in the event … scored 5,928 points and took third in his first career decathlon at the WAC Outdoor Championships for his first career First-Team All-WAC honor … also took seventh in the high jump (5-10.75) and eighth in the long jump (20-6.5) and triple jump (41-11.25) at the WAC Championships … finished ninth in the javelin throw at the Cougar Invitational on April 21 with a career-best mark of 152-0 (46.32m) … took sixth in the long jump at the WAR V dual meet on April 7 with a season-best leap of 21-3.5 … Spring WAC All-Academic honoree.

2012 Indoor: Briggs picked up the multi-events as a junior and made an immediate impact as a Second-Team All-WAC honoree in the heptathlon … finished fifth with a career-high score of 4,573 in the heptathlon at the WAC Indoor Championships to claim All-WAC Second Team honors … was also a Second-Team honoree in both the high jump (5-10.5) and long jump (21-6.25) after fifth-place finishes in each … also took seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 44-2.75 (13.48m) … finished eighth at the Cougar Indoor with a score of 4,402 in his first career heptathlon … ran a career-best 8.92 in the 60m hurdles at the Vandal Collegiate on Feb. 18 … set a career best by nearly one full foot in the heptathlon pole vault at the WAC meet with a height of 13-9.25 (4.20m) … Winter WAC All-Academic honoree.

2011 Outdoor: Briggs competed in the jumps for Idaho as a sophomore … suffered a hamstring injury on his first attempt of the meet in the long jump at the WAC Championships … won the long jump at the Duane Hartman Invitational on Apr. 29 with a season-best 22-4.25 (6.81m) … jumped a season-best 45-11.25 (14.00m) in a winning effort in the triple jump at the Cougar Invitational on Apr. 23 … cleared a season-high 6-2 (1.88m) in the high jump at the WAR IV dual meet on Apr. 9.

2011 Indoor: Briggs earned a pair of second-team all-WAC honors in the jumps for Idaho as a sophomore ... took fifth in the triple jump with a career-best 46-7.5 (14.21m) and sixth with a career-best 21-11.75 (6.70m) in the long jump at the WAC Indoor Championships ... also cleared 6-0.5 (1.84m) in the high jump at the WAC meet and took eighth.

2010 Indoor: Briggs earned second-team all-WAC honors as a freshman with a fifth-place finish in the triple jump at the WAC Indoor Championships. He leaped a career-best 45-0.25 (13.72m) at the meet. He also cleared 5-10 (1.78m) in the high jump at the Runner's Soul Open.

2010 Outdoor: Briggs took ninth in the triple jump at 43-3.75 (13.20m) and 10th in the long jump at 21-1.25 (6.43m) at the WAC Outdoor Championships. He also won the triple jump at the Sam Adams Classic with a career-best leap of 46-3.25 (14.10m) and set a career best of 21-3.25 (6.48m) in the long jump at the Duane Hartman Invitational.

High School: Briggs was a five-time 2A Oregon state medalist for Culver High School. As a senior, he was the state runner-up in the triple jump with a leap of 43-6.5, took fourth in the high jump at 5-10 and finished fourth in the 110m hurdles in 16.10. He set personal bests of 15.94 in the hurdles, 43-10 in the triple jump and 6-2 in the high jump during the year. His junior year in 2008, Briggs took third in the state meet in the 110m hurdles and fourth in the triple jump. He also earned second-team all-conference honors in basketball for the Bulldogs. He was also a team captain for both basketball and track and field and was named Field MVP as a senior.

Personal: His mother is Jennifer May and his guardians are Debra Nickel and uncle Charles May. He has three brothers, Brett Treadway, Jr., Forrest McClure and Max Briggs, and two sisters, Amanda Treadway and Steph Briggs. His major at Idaho is Physical Education.
