2014 Outdoor: Medina earned First-Team All-WAC honors for his third-place finish in the shot put… helped lead the men’s team to a Western Athletic Conference Championship…hit a career-best mark in the hammer throw with a mark of 136-2 (41.51m) at the Sam Adams Classic he also reached a career-best mark in the shot put at the meet with a toss of 50-9.5 (15.48m).

2014 Indoor: Medina was a member of the 2014 Western Athletic Conference Championship team… earned Second-Team All-WAC honors for his fourth-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 49-2.25 (14.99m)… hit a career-best mark in the shot put at the UW Indoor with a heave of 50-0 (15.24m)…he also reached a career-best mark in the weight throw with a mark of 42-8.25 (13.01m) at the Idaho Open.

High School: Eagle High School...played football and ran track...won the Thrower of the Year and the Coaches Choice Athlete of the Year award.
