High school/junior golf: Long-Goheen is a 2012 graduate of Desert Vista High School at Phoenix, Ariz., where she was a standout player for the Thunder throughout her career. She was her team’s MVP three times and was ninth at the 5A state tournament – one of the most competitive divisions in high school golf. She spends her summers in Washington and has competed in Washington Junior Golf Association events.
