2008: Brewer competed in the distance events as a freshman. He set an indoor personal best of 4:40.80 in the mile run at the WSU Open II and an outdoor best of 4:24.62 in the 1500m at the Cougar Outdoor.

2007: Brewer redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons.

Personal: He is the son of Ken and Denise Brewer. He was born July 22, 1987, at Sonora, Calif. He has one brother, Robert, and one sister, Becky. He was team captain of the cross country team at Sonora HS his senior year in 2006. He competed in the 2006 Boston Marathon and finished 1,137th in the field of 19,682 with a time of three hours and 19 seconds. He is majoring in Agribusiness at Idaho.
