SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The University of Idaho women's 200 free relay claimed third at the Western Athletic Conference Championship Meet, which enabled the Vandals to pull into eighth with 99 points with two days of competition remaining.
The team of Staci Stratton, Si Jia Pang, Katie Hendricks and Alyson O'Brien combined for a 1:34.14 for their third-place finish. Hendricks, Stratton and O'Brien also picked up points in the 50 free with Hendricks 11th in 24.03 and Stratton and O'Brien tied for 13th at 24.07. Distance swimmer Cortnee Hanson added to the Vandals' total with her 14th in the 500 free. She was clocked in 5:02.90 and Kelsie Saxe collected 12th in the 200 IM after finishing in 2:06.73.
